Hello, my name is Isabel Gomez. I am 24 years old. I graduated from Stanislaus State in CA with  BA in Sociology. I am an older sister of 8 siblings. I attend an Apostolic church in Modesto, CA. I love Jesus, journaling, reading, listening to podcasts, cooking, spending time with the people I love, and helping others. 

My story consist of searching for love, heart break, loss, grief, rejection, depression, and healing from past trauma. 

My testimony is that I’ve experienced Gods love, comfort, and presence in my life. I found Jesus at the age of 12. He has given me hope, life, and healing through prayer and the Bible.

The idea of advicetoself was given to me when I prayed for God to use me. I want to share Jesus with others. I want to talk about what Jesus has done for me. This is a place where I can do that. The letters are all for His glory, to share His love, His word, and His care for you. 

I believe God has given me a heart to help young girls and women. I have compassion for those who dont know Gods love, for those who are struggling secretly, for those who are searching for love, hope, and healing, for those who are looking for answers but have no one to help them. My heart is for them.

My heart is for younger me. I once was lost, but now I am found. I have experienced so much. I wish so badly I could go back and give my younger self a big hug and tell her about the love God has for her. Younger me needed Jesus. Younger me needed love. Younger me needed a friend, mentor, a mother figure. I think to myself, If I had someone to do that maybe it would of saved me from so much heart break. I hope to do that for others through my letters.
